PhD in physics at Milan University (Italy).

The Physics department has opened 17 PhD positions in Physics and Astrophysics at Milan University for the 2014-2017 cycle, with research opportunities in nearly all areas of Physics including Nuclear Physics. In the attachment, please find the poster with the announcement.

In particular, the graduate school is making a considerable effort to attract students from abroad. The language of the graduate school is English, both for physics and for administrative procedures. Admission is based on a CV, reference letters, a brief written essay, and an interview, to be held in October (in person or via skype). The graduate fellowship may be complemented by teaching assistanships, and a fellowship supplement is available for the two best-ranking students coming from outside the Milan region.
